Privacy Policy

In short

WorldPhotoSpecs does not use advertising or analytics trackers and does not set cookies for readers.

Ratings. When you rate a page we store the rating with a one-way keyed hash derived from your IP address and browser, so that each visitor counts once. The IP address itself is not stored.
Theme choice. Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
Server logs. Like any web server, ours keeps short-lived technical logs (time, page, IP address) to keep the site secure and working. They are deleted on a rolling basis.

The share links are plain links. Nothing from Facebook, X or the other networks loads until you click one.

Links to official sources open the authority's own site, which has its own privacy policy.

Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact address on the About page.
