Overview

The Republic of Palau has one document page here, the passport. The Palau Passport Office, part of the Ministry of State at the National Capitol in Ngerulmud, issues Palauan passports to citizens only. It publishes a requirements sheet and the application form PA-1, and both ask for one passport-size photo of 2 x 2 inches glued to the form.

The photo rules are short and written for a printed picture: recent, in colour, a clear front view of the full face, no hat or dark glasses, a plain light background, and no retouching that changes your appearance. No head height, pixel size or file format is published. Palau is also working on an e-passport project, so the process may change; check with the Passport Office before you print.
