At a glance

Equatorial Guinea has two photo pages: the passport and the visa, both set to 35 x 45 mm in the photo tool. The Washington embassy takes the official passport photo at an appointment and publishes no print size. The only official 35x45 mm found is the photo box on the embassy's visa form. The e-visa portal's own photo rules could not be read.

Overview

Passports are applied for on the CNEDOGE portal, with fingerprints and the official photo taken in person at an embassy appointment, as the Washington embassy describes it. Visas can be requested at an embassy or consulate, or online at equatorialguinea-evisa.com, which VFS Global runs for the government with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs giving the authorisation.

Photo rules therefore differ by document. The passport photo is taken by consular staff, with a dress code but no published print size. An embassy visa takes printed photos, and a paper form marks a 35x45 mm box. For the e-visa, the pages that could be read do not say what the form asks for. Border police also record a photo and fingerprints on entry.
