At a glance

Foreign visitors who need a Serbian visa, C or D, supply one colour photo of 3.5 x 4.5 cm (35 x 45 mm) taken within the last 6 months, on a light background. Online applications on Welcome to Serbia take the photo as a JPG, PNG or TIFF file of up to 5 MB; paper applications at embassies use a print.

Overview

Serbian visas are handled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its embassies and consulates, and online through Welcome to Serbia, the government portal for foreign nationals. The same photo rules apply to the short-stay visa C and the long-stay visa D: 3.5 x 4.5 cm, in colour, sharp and clear, under 6 months old, with natural skin colour, a light background, mouth closed and eyes clearly visible. Holders of a valid Schengen, UK, EU or US visa or residence permit can usually enter for up to 90 days without a visa, so check the visa regime first.
