The Andorran passport is the document covered for Andorra. The Servei de Tràmits takes the photo in a booth when you apply, so most applicants bring none. Children under six, and applicants with a justified physical impediment, attach one 35 x 45 mm colour photo taken in the previous six months on a monochrome light background.

Overview

Andorra's passport is issued by the Government of Andorra, and its rules are published under the Ministry of Justice and Interior. You apply in person at an office of the Servei de Tràmits; a legal representative can do so for a minor or a person with a disability. The office has issued a third-generation biometric passport since 15 December 2022.

The photo rule has two parts. For most applicants the picture is taken in a special booth at the office during the visit, so there is nothing to prepare. Children under six and people who cannot use the booth attach a photograph, and for that the government sets a size, a colour, a background and a pose. The passport page covers those conditions in detail.
