At a glance

The passport is the Trinidad and Tobago document covered here. Its printed photo is 31 x 41 mm on a white background, although the missions in the US ask for 2 x 2 in. Most applicants never need prints, because the Immigration Division and missions abroad photograph you at the interview. Prints go only with postal renewals, lost passport replacements and emergency documents.

Overview

Trinidad and Tobago's Immigration Division issues the Machine Readable Passport to citizens of every age, from babies upwards. It sits within the Ministry of Homeland Security and takes bookings through eAppointment for its six passport offices, from Port of Spain to Tobago.

Citizens living overseas deal with the network of embassies, high commissions and consulates run by the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs. These missions interview first-time applicants and most children in person but accept adult renewals by post, and each publishes its own photo sheet, so check the one for your mission before printing.
