At a glance
Aruba has one document page: the Dutch passport, issued to residents with Dutch nationality by the Civil Registry (DBSB) in Oranjestad. The photo is a printed colour photo of 35 x 45 mm, handed in at the counter and judged against the Fotomatrix Model 2007 that the Government of Aruba links. It must be recent, have a plain light grey, light blue or white background and not be edited.
Overview
Aruba is one of the Caribbean countries of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and residents with Dutch nationality travel on the Dutch passport. The Government of Aruba, not a Dutch town hall, takes the application. You apply in person at the Civil Registry and Population Register Department (DBSB, also known as Censo), either at the walk-in desk in Schoolstraat 2 or by appointment at L.G. Smith Boulevard 66.
You supply the photo yourself, as a print. The passport page asks for a recent colour photo, advises a recognised photographer and refers to the Fotomatrix Model 2007 for the acceptance criteria. An emergency passport or laissez-passer comes from the Cabinet of the Governor of Aruba, after the national passport has been applied for at the DBSB.
