Overview

Applications are submitted in person, and residents of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman use District Administration in Cayman Brac. The completed form is forwarded to HM Passport Office, which prints the passport.
The office also evaluates British citizen passport applications and sends them on to HM Passport Office in Durham, so a British citizen resident can use the same counter. The territory publishes its own photo section: two professionally printed photos, 45 mm high by 35 mm wide, with the head 29 to 34 mm from crown to chin. Applicants living in the UK follow a separate route through GOV.UK.
