At a glance
The Haitian document covered here is the passport, issued through the Direction de l'Immigration et de l'Émigration (DIE). Its checklist asks for two colour photos on a white background and names a passport format of 35 x 45 mm (1.38 x 1.77 in) for single adult women. The Chicago consulate asks for the same two coloured pictures.
Overview
Passport applications in Haiti go through the Direction de l'Immigration et de l'Émigration, whose office is in Port-au-Prince. The DIE sets a different list of supporting documents for each applicant status, such as an adult woman, an adult man, a child or someone who has lost a passport, but the photo line is nearly the same in all of them.
Haitians abroad apply through a Haitian consulate; the Consulate General in Chicago, for example, takes applications in person or online. The DIE also runs online platforms for requests. Neither the DIE nor the consulate page read for this overview publishes a head size or a limit on the photo's age.
