Bahamas photo specifications
Photo sizes and rules for 3 documents issued in Bahamas, taken from the issuing authorities and linked to their official pages.
At a glance
The Bahamas uses 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm) for all three documents covered here. The passport takes three colour prints in person, or one digital copy at 600 dpi to renew online. The visa and the eVisa take one digital photograph at 600 dpi. All three ask for a plain white or off-white background and a photograph no more than six months old.
Overview
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues Bahamian passports through its Passport Office and entry visas through its Consular Division. The Department of Immigration is the border authority: it checks for the visa on arrival and handles permits and extensions, but it does not issue visas. Citizens abroad deal with Bahamian missions, which take passport applications and act as visa processing offices.
The passport photo rules come from the Passport Rules (Chapter 192) and the Ministry's pages, while the visa rules come from a separate one-page eVisa photograph specification. The passport asks for prints when you apply in person and a digital copy when you renew online. The visa and the eVisa are one process: you upload a single digital photograph in the Ministry's portal and may be interviewed afterwards at the processing office you chose.
