At a glance
This guide covers the Seychelles biometric passport. The Immigration and Civil Status Department takes the photograph, fingerprints and digital signature itself when you enrol in person, so applicants do not supply a photo and no photo size or background colour is published. Seychellois abroad enrol at designated overseas stations after clearance by the Passport Section.
Overview
Seychelles passports are issued by the Immigration and Civil Status Department (ICS) through its Passport Section in Victoria. Applications are made in person: you attend an enrolment office, are vetted, pay, and then have your bio-data captured. The department lists those data as the photograph, fingerprints and digital signature.
Citizens abroad send a copy of their passport for verification first, then enrol at a designated overseas station by appointment. The passport itself is personalised in Victoria and returned by courier. The passport page explains each step and its sources.
