At a glance

Georgian passports are issued by the Public Service Development Agency, which can take the colour photo for you; consulates abroad ask for 35 x 45 mm. Consular visas use an uploaded biometric photo whose size varies by embassy, and the e-visa portal takes a JPG, JPEG, PNG or BMP file up to 5 MB with no published size.

Overview

Georgia has three documents with different photo rules. A Georgian passport is issued by the Public Service Development Agency at its offices and Public Service Hall branches, and by consulates abroad. The photo is a colour photo that can be taken for you in Georgia, while consulates ask for 35 x 45 mm. Foreign visitors who need a visa either apply through an embassy or consulate, where a biometric photo is uploaded in the e-application, or use the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' e-visa portal for short stays. The portal gives a file type and size limit and a head proportion instead of a print size.
